God does not make Sodomites, they make themselves!
The homosexual behavior among men is a greater risk to human health even than intravenous drug abuse. The elevated health risks associated with homosexuality are by now so well established that not even homosexuals pretend otherwise. Medical experts warn that active homosexuals are at elevated risks of HIV/AIDS, substance and alcohol abuse, depression and anxiety, hepatitis, a whole range of STDs such as syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, pubic lice, Human Papilloma Virus, and anal papilloma, and prostate, testicular and colon cancer. The Bottom line: this is not behavior that any rational society should condone, endorse, subsidize, reward, promote or sanction in domestic policy or in the marketplace. It’s a choice, and a bad one at that. It’s long past time for our culture – to say a simple and direct “No” to homosexuality and the homosexual agenda. Approving of homosexual “marriage” (relationship) in any way, shape or form is one thing no sincerely devoted follower of Christ can do. This is simply because a homosexual “marriage” is based on a sex act the Bible uniformly condemns from beginning to end as immoral, unnatural and unhealthy. Homosexual “marriage” is a sham and a counterfeit. In reality, there is no such thing as a homosexual “marriage,” since God has defined marriage from the dawn of time as the union of one man and one woman. Jesus reaffirmed God’s definition of marriage with words that came from his own lips . You can call a homosexual union a “marriage” if you choose, you can even write it into law, the Supreme Court can even tyrannically impose it on an entire nation, but calling it a “marriage” doesn’t make it one. You can call iron pyrite “gold” if you wish, but any competent metallurgist will expose it as counterfeit in an instant. Despite this, those who stand on firm biblical ground are regarded as in tolerant bigots and accused hysterically of being ‘homophobics’! Furthermore should any Sodomite still retain an ounce of shame or guilt at his sinful way of life this is blamed on those who dare to oppose themselves. They want to be free, not of the sin itself, but of the guilt that accompanies it so that they may continue undisturbed in sin.
The idea that the people of God must put up with everything and oppose nothing when God’s enemies rebelled is not biblical one. God is both tolerant and intolerant, both attributes rest on His goodness. He is tolerant towards sinners to the end that they will repent and believe and be saved. “He causes the sun to shine and rain to fall on just and the unjust alike.” (Matthew 5:45) to the benefit of both. God is also intolerant. Ever since the Garden of Eden, He will from time to time pour out His wrath and over throw His declared enemies. There are many such examples in Scripture and in history. He uses wars, plagues, earth quakes, floods, fires. God’s intolerance towards Sodomy is with good reason.
To tolerate that which God forbids is to advocate such anarchy as is found in the book of judges. One of the darkest books of the Scripture where “ every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” (Judges 17:6) Now, complete toleration means anything goes. It must include every kind of sexual perversion, unrestricted adultery, idolatry, child abuse, witchcraft, even cannibalism and human sacrifice. Who then is to say what is forbidden? No one in their right mind can possibly agree that toleration of everything is either practical or possible.
When the sins of public figures become common knowledge, we are told, “ what a person does in his private life is of no public concern.” This has become a good cover put out by those who may well have something they wish to hide. In this way a prince can feel justified in keeping a mistress and public figures may indulge in whatever is their pet sin, undisturbed as long as they are “ doing a good job.” A man who lies to his wife about his mistress will as easily lie to the general public with outraged demeanor! What a man is in private, he will be in public too. This politicians who rebel against God in private will support laws that tolerate or promote what God has forbidden. Yes, the presence of Sodomite politicians in places of authority and influence must be of concern to us all. Such clauses as to, “ discriminate or incite hatred on grounds of sexual orientation,” are already found in the employment conditions of public bodies and educational institutions.
Sad to say, rather than standing firmly on the teaching of Scripture, the professing church is increasingly becoming a significant force in this revolt against God. Supporting the demands of Sodomites with exegetical twists and turn to which godless theologians subject biblical texts. They are fond of quoting the first half of John 8:11: “Neither do I condemn thee…..” They are not so fond of quoting the second half. In fact, they quite pointedly ignore it as if it weren’t even there. But wishing it away doesn’t make it disappear.
Sodom was a great place for raising cattle,
but a poor place for raising children!
